U.S. Peace Ambassadors

The Peace Ambassador Program teaches and develops skills in leadership, emotional resiliency, critical thinking, teamwork, public speaking, and community action among teenagers (ages 15-18) in Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Northern New Mexico. The 2025 theme, “Leadership in Allyship,” will give Peace Ambassadors a lens to explore Israeli and Palestinian narratives with the guidance of Tomorrow's Women staff and in community with peers in Israel and Palestine. The program culminates with a community project designed and led by Peace Ambassadors to create action with their new skills and amplify the voices of their Israeli and Palestinian peers overseas.

The goal of Peace Ambassadors is to empower young women (including cis and trans women) ages 15-18 in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico to be leaders.​​

The application for the 2025 program is now closed. The 2026 application will open January 01, 2026.
PARTICIPANT CRITERIA
Â
We welcome teenagers ages 15-18 who have an identity aligned with womanhood including cisgender, non-binary, and trans-feminine.

Must live in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, or Northern New Mexico to apply.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Workshops, trainings, and meetings will take place at the Santa Fe Teen Center from February–May 2025 on Saturday afternoons and select Wednesday evenings. See detailed schedule below. Peace Ambassadors will have the opportunity to engage in online and in-person international collaborations with peers from Israel and Palestine, June to August, 2025.

The Peace Ambassador Program fee is $100. Scholarships are available.
