Our Work

Peace Ambassador Program

We leverage our extensive experience in Israel and Palestine to empower young women to create change in New Mexico through our Peace Ambassador program, a six-month intensive leadership training that teaches compassionate communication, conflict resolution, and other skills to address issues of equity and inclusion.

This program has had a large impact on my life by educating me about the Israeli and Palestinian conflict. History is important but personal stories are valuable because of the strength they have to touch people’s hearts.

– Xitlalitl Rodas, Peace Ambassador 2018

Teens connect their own experiences with those of other young women in Israel and Palestine, learning about each other’s history, sharing personal stories, and creating joint projects that address inequities, build bridges, and heal the pain caused by interpersonal and inter-group conflict.
