Miriam’s early years were marked by a passion for understanding different cultures and religions. This curiosity led her to pursue a degree at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, where she earned a B.A in international relations and peace and conflict studies. For the next ten years, Miriam played a pivotal role at the National Indian Education Association in Washington, DC, organizing events that fostered partnerships and promoted the organization's mission of advancing educational opportunities for Native students. She is dedicated to fostering understanding and collaboration among diverse communities. Miriam currently resides in Corrales, NM.
